Outpatient Psychiatric Care

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center offers outpatient mental health programs for adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 who struggle with a psychiatric or substance use issue but do not need the 24-hour care of an inpatient program. These programs help patients learn skills to improve daily life and functioning. Youth return home each evening so they can maintain important family, community, educational and social relationships.

Our outpatient psychiatric treatment programs can serve as a standalone treatment option or a step-down from inpatient  or residential care. A confidential, no-cost assessment determines the program to which a patient is initially admitted as well as what their needs in the program will be.

We Care About You

Treatment is not a one-size-fits-all process, and we take that into account when determining what level of care and treatment will be best for your child. Our initial assessment will determine the needs of your child and work to get the help needed for whatever issues your family may face.
